The SK65 is an... interesting phone. On first glance, it's normal. Just a bit thick, maybe. Then, the keyboard FLIPS out in this extremely cool and satisfying way, essentialy turning the phone into a ninja star. The Siemens SK65 is a phone that was released in 2004 by the once extremely popular phone manufacturer, Siemens. It has only 64mb of storage, with a pathetic 30 of them available to the user, and sadly, I couldn't find out the amount of ram, but I'm sure I'll find it somewhere. eventually. Anyway, It runs siemens own proprietary OS, but has java so, it has GAMES.
The games that come preloaded onto this phone are Chess Master, Golf 3d, and Sea battle. However, having java, you could put whatever games you wanted on it. Almost. My phone has a bunch of games on it, ranging from 2008 World Soccer to Zuma. There are also apps. Mine has Google Maps (on a 2004 phone!) Opera Mini, a PDF viewer, Gmail, among many more. (this is all less than 30mb, remember?) So... Java is quite a powerful tool. And the ringtones are amazing. Although it can play custom sounds, sadly, it can't play mp3's. But anyway, it doesn't have a headphone jack (Siemens got ther first, Apple!) so good luck. Also, while it does support video... The screen really sucks, so don't even bother.
This is just a quick article about the SK65, so if you want to see it in action, you can on my youtube channel, with a video on it coming eventually. Hopefully soon. You can find my youtube channel in the "what you probably came here for" section of this website. Hope to see you in the comments of my videos!
